In 1947 a horizontal red stripe was added to the stars 'n' bars design, which was used in Korea, and indeed retained even to the present day as the "high visibility" marking on USAF aircraft. These decals are scaled to represent 30", 36" and 48" height Stars 'n' Bars in 1/600 scale. The actual heights are 1.25mm, 1.5mm and 2mm, so these are small decals, although obviously they're wider than they are tall. |
