Orbit pumps create a unique type of flow that circles the aquarium with water movement - like the water moving in the ocean. Orbit creates a cross current that simulates the tidal current on ocean reefs. This is an excellent mechanism for lifting excess nutrients from the bottom of the aquarium and removing them through filtration.

Combined with the directional and random flow patterns of our Nero pump range, a true replica of the ocean current can be achieved - powerful, directional, systematic and random.

Orbit can be operated in both forward and reverse mode.

Extend user-defined flow patterns and programmes through reverse operation.
Use the reverse function to create a turbulent flow to help remove debris.

Multiple pumps can be operated in opposite directions to enhance vortex or circular flow.
