Komatsuna Murasaki F1

£0.60 / pack(s)

From sowing to tasty, tender and juicy full heads takes 7-8 weeks.  You can sow at any time of the year, lovely flavour.  There is a further attraction for including Muraskaki in your autumn sowing list -  the cooler weather emboldens the purple-green foliage so it will look lovely in your winter greenhouse

SOW:  in modules in early to late summer for harvesting from late summer to winter.  For a winter through to spring crop sow the seeds in succession from late summer & transplant to grow under cloches, a cold frame or unheated greenhouse.

GROW: transplant at the 2/3 leaf stage and space at 10cm for small plants, or up to 30cm apart if you want to grow larger plants.   From sowing Murasaki to tasty, tender and juicy full heads takes 7-8 weeks, less in warmer weather.

EAT: colour (& flavour) are lovely in salads.  In cooler weather you will find that they can be added to stir-fry or steamed lightly.
