Oriental Mustard Leaf Suehlihung

£0.60

Enjoy at every stage from micro greens, through baby leaf, young and mature leaf sizes. The flavour develops from mild to spicy as the leaves grow into their final long serrated oakleaf form. This is quite a hardy variety that can grow form a late sowing well into the winter. Price for 50 seeds

SOW:  best in spring and autumn.  Starting the seeds in modules enables you to transplant at the 2/3 leaf stage; for cropping in winter sow in October & transplant under cover.  Summer sowings are best used as baby leaves or cut-&-come-again (heat encourages them to speed into flowering)

GROW:  it just grows!  Space at 10-30cm depending on the size of plant you want. Plant closer together for cut-&-come-again cropping.  You can harvest every stage from micro greens, through baby leaf, young and mature leaf sizes.

EAT: the first leaves are mild; the spiciness begins to grow as you move from baby leaves into the longer more mature stages.  Add to salads and sandwiches or cook these - pep up a spinach dish with Suehlihung
