Scottish Blackface (Unwashed) Fleece 200g Our Scottish blackface Fleece comes from a small holding in Devon. The fine staple is approximately 6 cm ( 2 inches) and the fleece that spins and felts well. Although there may be some vegetable matter in this fleece it has been picked over and skirted.
At Newmoor barn we only source our sheeps fleece from local small farms which we can visit to ensure the animals are treated with care and respect. All of our fibres are processed entirely by hand. |
