This Fleece Comes From a Local Farm in Cornwall. Unusually for a hill breed sheep, the Exmoor Horn produces a very fine quality fleece which is of excellent colour, good staple length (approx 5 inches) and quality, with a micron count of 36.7

Average weight 1.8kg

Although there may be some vegetable matter in this fleece it has been picked over and skirted.

At Newmoor barn we only source our sheeps fleece from local small farms which we can visit to ensure the animals are treated with care and respect. All of our fibres are processed entirely by hand.
