Allcocks AERIAL 7950-T2 (1914-1925) 4" Narrow Drum - Excellent Condition

Allcock AERIAL model 7950-T2 (1914-25), 4'', narrow drum (7/8''). Aluminium front flange stamped 'patent', retaining 99% of original leading, 12 spoke with 8 large ventilation holes, sprung screw tension adjuster and sprung quick spool release clip, attractive slim tapered horn handles (quite scarce on this model). Ebonite back flange which is bright and perfect. Aluminium backplate with c95% of original leading finish, brass check button operating copper caliper 'see through' check, brass full length straight and undamaged foot, 2 small holes to the back rim indicating a previous line guard fitting and just one small (5mm) scuff to back rim (see pic) with virtually 100% of the original leading finish to the inside backplate.

In their catalogue Allcocks guaranteed the Aerial 'without time limit' a staggering offer backed up by this fine example; in excellent all round condition, recently serviced by Garry Mills at Mill Tackle and working perfectly and spinning very freely without any spindle play. A perfect vintage trotting reel in tip top condition and attractively priced.
