Usual Barder exquisite craftmanship and refinements incl. nickel silver ferrules, butt cap and reel bands (all 'extras'). Stunning glass like finish with beautifully shaped olive wood ferrule stoppers. The Barder rod Co. no longer makes whole cane butt rods however their current minimum cost of 3 piece rods is £2200. Upon recent inspection Mr Barder described this particular example as ' probably the best whole cane rod we ever produced'.
