Here is a very rare pendant by the acclaimed Danish modernist silversmith Arne Johansen (see bio).  It was purchased in Roskilde, where Johansen was based, and may never have been produced for the export market. It features 5 cubes attached to rods freely articulating from the cross bar.  Have you seen the matching earrings, item 2016?

Here is a huge brown puffy porcelain heart produced by the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory in the early 1970s. This piece was designed by Bodil Buch and Jens Windfeld Hansen, one a silversmith and the other a ceramicist. It has a silver insert at the top with an integral bale. The Finnfeelings brand was started  in the early 1960s by Hans Sten and Larl Laine, based in Turku, where it still produces some of the original iconic Karl Laine designs as well as more contemporary pieces.  This pendant is a superb example of the iconic Karl Laine deisgn, with a bright rock crystal nestling within the  textured-edged smooth-topped silver surround.  The pendant is supplied with a nice silver chain.

Here is a magnificent modernist re-interpretation of the Viking ship theme by the renowned designer Bjørn Sigurd Østern for the leading Norwegian silversmithy David-Andersen (see bio).  Here the ships are seen at different angles and piled high to create a whole fleet, forming a triangle. This Sterling silver sculpture can be worn both as a brooch and a pendant and I am supplying a long chain for that purpose.

Here is a huge bronze pendant / brooch by the Norwegian designer Unn Tangerud, who worked in the studio workshop set up by Uni David-Andersen in 1959. Uni was the great grandaughter of the founder of the David-Andersen smithy (see bio).  The design of this fabulous piece, which you can wear either as a pendant or a brooch, is both modern and ancient, with hints from a time when the sun was worshiped. Royal Copenhagen porcelain and silver necklace

When Royal Copenhagen Porcelain took over the Anton Michelsen silver company in 1968, designers from both disciplines were encouraged to collaborate (see profile). Gradually Royal Copenhagen dropped the Michelsen mark . This gorgeous white porcelain pendant with its integral chain is an an example of such collaboration - a fusion of silver and porcelain.The white porcelain lozenge is grooved to allow for the silver bands which swirl across the front. The designers were most likely the ceramicist Bodil Buch and the silversmith Jens Windfeld Hansen.

Georg Jensen Sterling silver "Strata" pendant 203 with silver chain

" Rediscovered in the Georg Jensen archives, the STRATA pendant, by Danish designer Anette Kræn, was originally created in the 1970s. Crafted in Sterling silver with deep etched lines despicting the varying layers of rock in the earth, the STRATA pendant has a strong masculine expression".(as per leaflet). It was re-introduced in 2007 as part of the newly established men's collection of pendants, bangles and rings, as it fitted a more 'unisex' look. It is supplied with original thick silver chain.

Here is a wonderful little Sterling silver pendant was designed by Regitze Overgaard  for Georg Jensen in 2004. It is part of the Infinity serie screated for the centenary of the company. This pendant is supplied in the original box with a silver-tipped silk cord as well as a silver-tipped rubber link, so that the pendant can be used as a charm on a keyring, mobile phone, wallet etc. All items unused. Ola Gorie large Sterling silver Maeshowe dragon pendant + chain

Here is a fabulous Sterling silver pendant by the distinguished silversmith Ola Gorie, based on the Scottish northern islands of Orkney (see bio).  Invaded by the Vikings in the 8th century, these islands were under Norwegian rule until 1472, leaving many traces, influences and links. This magnificent  dragon is based on carvings found at Maeshowe, Stenness, Orkney.  This is a neolithic chamber which was broken into by  Earl Rongvalds men in 1142 and they are said to be responsible for the carving.

A + De Brutalist pendant and chain

Here is a fabulous white metal pendant brutalist created by the collaborative project between two Danes, Jens Andersen and Erik Dennung ( see bio) in the 1970s, whch they called A+DeDesign.  Dennung died at the age of 82 in 2007, but his son Steen continued to run his business and shop in Copenhagen until 2016.  This pendant, with a large snowflake obsidian stone set in silver plate and held by huge bent nails, is possibly, together with the matching bangle (item 1872) and ring (item 1874) a one-off  or bespoke set.

Here is a fabulous, large modrernist pendant in the brutalist style by the Danish silversmith Peter Wilhjelm Nielsen, registered in Copenhagen 1967-73 and again in  2008.  The large agate stone lies in a silver-plate dish, held in place by dozens of silver pellets.  The pendant hangs from a heavy chain.

Here is a fabulous brutalist pendant by the renowned Danish silversmiths  the Bjerring brothers, whose workshop was registered from 1962 to 83.  A well as silver, the brothers produced a number of designs in base metals, as here , in this huge pendant  holding a large, mottled green stone.
