Children explore why things fizz and bubble and in doing so learn about how and why gases are formed. They are involved in numerous fun-filled experiments where they mix materials to generate gases and learn about the chemical reactions taking place. They also discover how these gases affect the world we live in. 

This workshop is for children aged 3 years upwards. The session starts at 11:00 OR 14:00pm and lasts approximately one hour and costs £5 + VAT. 

Pre-booking and payment is required in advance. We do require a parent or guardian to stay with attending children for all of our sessions. One £6.00 (£5.00 + VAT) ticket entitles 1 CHILD and 1 ADULT to attend a Science Zone Workshop. Please note there is an additional charge of £2.00 for any extra non participating children and/or adults up to a maximum of 3 per workshop due to space restrictions.
