Competition Lever - Cable Nipple Holder Barrel

This barrel was fitted to those competition clutch or brake levers that did not have a slot in the blade for the cable to feed through. This was because the competition levers were made of a thinner gauge than stnadard levers and cutting a slot would have weakened them. These barrels are copied from a very rare original and are now almost impossible to find. They are identical to the original other than being machined in Stainless Steel. These are as fitted to my competition clutch\brake lever sets

Tax Disc Holder : Halycon Type - Stainless Steel

Classic 'Halycon' Style Tax Disc Holder, this model being in Stainless Steel so it will not tarnish or rust.  

Although it is no longer a legal requirement to fit tax disc's, all historic bikes would have originally been fitted with them - so in my view, no restoration would be complete without fitting a tax disc holder - and I use this type on some of my bikes.

Update Jan 2016:  To go with these tax disc holders, I will soon be able to offer facsimile historic Tax Discs which will be tailored to include your own bike details.  I am hoping eventually to have these available for all years from the 1930's - to 1970's.  For the moment, I am able to offer 1961,1962,1972 - see photograph 3 for an example using one of my own bike details.  Please email for details if you require a facsimile tax disc

Front Number Pate

Front Number plate, painted with a black finish.

This number plate has a sporty rake on on one side (which would be facing the rear of the bike.  However - if you prefer the symetric shape that was adoped on some bikes (i.e. the Vincent used a symetric front number plate commonly), then it is a simple job to copy the shape of the other end onto a cardboard template and then use this as a template to help cut away the 'rake' part on the other end, leaving a symetric style plate.  I have done this with one of these plates when fitting one to my Vincent Comet restoration

Smiths Speedo/Rev Clock Chronometric Lipped Bezel Ring

Chromed and lipped bezel ring as used on Smiths (80mm diameter) chronometric Speedometers that would be mounted into binnacles and headlamp shells. The lip prevents the speedometer from dropping through the binnacle, and the speedometer is normally held in place by using a 'U' bracket from behind. Chrome Trip Knobs

These are very nice chrome, straight knurled, knobs that were fitted to the end of the 'Trip' shaft, so the trip meter could be reset. They are very nice quality and are drilled so they can be attached to the trip shaft by means of a small split pin, as per originals. Often the trip knobs on original speedometers are missing, this will really set the speedometer off
