Feb 2012: I have been asked many times in the last 2 years if I can supply these very distinctive parallel springs, as fitted pre-war to racing girder forks, and now am happy to report that I can! These are the distinctive parallel checksprings fitted to racing style girder forks in the 1930's - fitted to both privateers and Works bikes. These springs replace the normal conical type checksprings, but must be used in conjunction with the special LH/RH clevis adjusters and locknuts, which are available in both stainless and dull nickel finish (dependent on availability) - see the other listings for those parts. We also stock the distinctive clevis pins fitted with greasing holes
